Over 1 year ago I started having pain on left side of face(around the ear). In January 2010 I was referred to a specialist. Saw her in April, May & August 2011 and I know it was hard for her to find out what I had but nothing was being done about my situation. I went to the George Dumont praying for someone to help me because my face was swollen for over 1 year & nothing was being done by my specialist in which she sent me for a Sialogram in Nov. 2011 and did not hear from her again. Needed some more pain killers and needed to go to hospital to get them. When I went in Dr. Godin asked me what I was there for & I was such in pain, I told him I just wanted some pain killers & I'd go home because I went a few times at hospital with this & nothing, absolutely nothing was done but Dr. Godin when I went in Dec. 2011, he asked me what I had and told him. He went & checked by charts & said that it had been going on for quite a while and I said yes. He said it could be a irritated nerve & he was going to give me some pill to try. I said to him I would try anything & he sent me for blood test to make sure that there was no infection in my glands, etc... and he also said he would sent me for a CT-Scan for the left side of my face because my face was getting numb. I was mentally drained out because of this pain. I saw doctor Godin before and he is a very good doctor, I which he was mine and does not fuck around with things. I thank god everyday that he was the one there because on my way down to hospital I was hoping it would be him. If we had more doctors like him, life would be a lot better. Very knowledgeable, more than the specialist(she is a waste of tax peoples money). I never want to see her again, don't worry she will be rated.
