Dr. Plummer is a very qualified G.P. In my mind he has more knowledge about most medical problems than most G.P.s. I have a chronic problem and Dr. Plummer has referred me to many specialists over the years. I always ask him before I see the specialist what his take is on what the specialist will recommend and he has always been right. He stays current with new treatments and medicines by being a part time instructor at Dalhousie University. Each year he also usually has 2 or 3 medical interns from Dal. working in his office with him. He admits that having interns working with him is a 2 way learning environment. They learn valuable experience from him and he learns new ideas from them. When I am in Dr. Plummer's office (4 visits per year), I feel like I am talking more to a friend than to a Doctor. Great Doctor!!
